Assalamualiakum (peace be upon you!)
I just wanted to send a quick message to all the non-Muslims that follow this blog. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to ask and I’ll always do my best to answer them.
And this really goes for anyone. I know sometimes it takes me a while to get to questions but that’s just because I want to be sure I give the right information to the best of my ability.
So, as usual, my ask box is always open. No question is too big or too little for me to answer or to try and find you the answer to.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful and blessed Ramadan. :)
As Salaam Aleikum Rahmatullah wa Barakatu. :)
As Some of you may know already. My name is Marlene and I’m the newest admin for Real Life Muslim Girl. First off I’m very excited to be a part of this incredible blog. Main reason being because when I first was contemplating becoming a hijabi, before I even knew what tumblr was this blog helped me immensely. It gave me comfort and support when I needed it the most. So now I’m giving back hopefully might be able to do the same for someone else.
Moving on, my monthly contribution to this blog will be “beauty tips”. Now my plan is to be as body positive as possible. I want to use this opportunity to help young women feel good about what Allah swt has blessed us with. Okay okay so you have some curves. So what? Maybe you have a lot or maybe none at all. Either way you’re the best you that you can be. Does that make sense? Haha well my point is that this section won’t be about crash diets or clothes that “slim you” Its going to be about building self esteem. Fun makeup ideas, colorful modest outfits to try out ya know stuff along those lines.
I look forward to posting for all of you and hearing helpful feedback, criticism, compliments, whatever ya got!
How do you get your hair cut? Do you call ahead to a salon to request a private room? Do you do it yourself? If so, how?
